Transformers; RIP phone

Candice Swanepoel totally looks like...

...Rosie Huntington-Whiteley from Transformers 3. Kind of. They're both Victoria Secret models anyway.

Had a free day today so I watched Jeremy flex his manual driving skills, and introduced him to his first ever bowl of har min.

JEREMY. IS NOT MALAYSIAN. Who doesn't know har min? And "kam hiong" la-la? Har gao? Ngao lam min? Mee sua?

"DO YOU UNDERSTAND "YONG TAO FOO"?"
*receives a duh look*

Ah well, excused. Fellow bananas. Although I must say my hakka is getting very much better. :)

Aaaaaargh!!! :D :D :D
Best way to start the morning, despite waking up late, getting ready in two minutes  and not washing your hair before a date...
So so soooo tasty. BY FAR the best in town.
The broth, boiled with prawn shells for God knows how long, making it super sweet and fragrant... the noodles, just soggy enough and never bland, having absorbed the said soupy heaven... the generous boiled egg and pork slices... the small prawns and fried shallots giving added flavour to each bite... the texture of the juicy taugeh complementing the just-soggy-enough noodles...

CHECKED OFF THE LIST!!!!!

LALALA, LALALA, make fun of me for the above paragraph. But it's sooo good, you'd be reciting it to me after you've tried it.
It's at Kam Heong Kopitiam, at 'New Town.'

Then spent three hours watching Transformers 3 (or rather, spent the next three hours losing my phone and appreciating Shia LaBeouf's beautiful eyes...)

SIGH. MY PHONE. After having survived countless falls, hard smashes onto the concrete floor/road/down several levels in HELP, being splashed with water almost every night, after having half its original casing cracked and ripped apart, after being ridiculed/awed by almost all my friends, being the starting conversation for many awkward moments, after becoming my freaking IDENTITY (not unlike my old converse shoes with mismatched shoelaces)...

*sniff*

And the texts! It has received so many things in this span of six years (SIX YEARS! My friend's iPhone lasted six MONTHS...), texts that were beyond sweet, texts of encouragement, inspirational texts, embarrassing texts, flirtatious texts, birthday texts, texts of promise, texts of freakinggg... friendshippp...!!!

All gone. While I watched Rosie Huntington's duh-looking expression in slow motion.

Haha, that's why these past few months whenever anyone tried to text me, they'd get a text back in return from Maxis saying my inbox was full. :P

Really??? Is this really how it ends?? I had imagined a more, well, dignified death...
It just needed to last three more weeks!
After six years... just three more weeks! :'(

Other than my personal melodrama, the latest Transformers was pretty good! I haven't watched the previous two movies, and was totally expecting Shia to die since someone "spoiled" that for me...

Safiz, @Desa Hartamas for lunch. Roti kaya and kari ikan, but I love my tosai. :)

CHECKED OFF THE LIST!!!!

While I suffer the inconvenience of having lost all my contacts in my phone (thank you, Facebook!), I have something to comfort me!
Just purchased "The Picture of Dorian Gray" by Oscar Wilde, from Borders. :)

By the way, I've been searching for "Gone With The Wind" just about everywhere, but it seems to have been discontinued.
