But everytime I eat this, all I'm thinking is the amount of pig lard/oil I'm consuming. 
And that's just... gross.

I hate bacon.

But. Snap. I love love love tau sar peng/Tambun biscuit/smashed beans pastry...

Smooth buttery nutty/bean-y goodness lovingly cradled by a flaky crust. There are many variations now, but the "authentic ones" i.e. ones I ate when I was young (HECK I'm still young! :P), consist of green beans baked in pig lard. The ones baked using vegetable oil is drier and doesn't bring out the flavour of the beans as much (understandably).

CHECKED OFF THE LIST!!!
